I don’t always listen to dubstep , but when I do I listen to Zeds Dead

I don’t always listen to dubstep. But when I do, I find myself listening to the tasteful wobble, if you will. Zeds Dead is a great example of that. These boys are from Toronto, where they have been rallying their own nights of Bassmentality to strengthen the city’s dub scene.

Check out Massive Attack – Paradise Cisrcus (Zeds Dead Remix) , its got that underlying bass dub that is very much subdued which actually makes the dub that much better.

Also Radiohead – Pyramid Song (Zeds Dead Remix) is a great example of dub. This on to me is a great contrast of the mellow original and the upbeat electronic sounds.

Keep on cooking!
